Finalists for the SCJ Conference student paper competitions have been selected. They will present their papers during the Graduate and Undergraduate division slots during the conference. Each will receive a one-year SCJ membership. Winners of each division will $2500 scholarship to any one of ten participating graduate schools associated with the Stone-Campbell Movement, multiple books appropriate to their interests, plus possible publication in SCJ. The finalists are:

Hanes McPherson Swingle (Emmanuel Christian Seminary at Milligan University), "The Chosen: Judges 7:1-7" (Sponsor: Jason Bembry)
The undergraduate division had ten submissions, from students at Bushnell University, Central Christian College of the Bible, Great Lakes Christian College, Harding University, Johnson University (TN & FL), and Lincoln Christian University. The graduate division had five submissions, from students at Emmanuel Christian Seminary at Milligan University, Lincoln Christian University, and Lipscomb University.
